The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine seeks an education specialist with expertise in curriculum coordination, evaluation, and learner assessment for the Office of Medical Education. The coordinator of education and evaluation assists with the coordination of curriculum in the medical school’s longitudinal integrated clerkships, the student assessment and program evaluation. Pursuit of scholarly activities in medical education will be expected. The coordinator of education and evaluation reports jointly to the director of evaluation and assessment and the assistant dean of medical student education.

Master’s degree required. Knowledge of program evaluation, learner assessment, statistical analysis, teaching and learning theory, and applicable software required (i.e. Microsoft Office).
