  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, with full-time university admissions or active college student leadership experience preferred. Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills required. Must be a team-oriented, self-starter with the ability to establish rapport and to build energetic counseling relationships with diverse prospective students and families. A sense of humor, goal orientation, and ability to work independently are critical. Salary is $35,000.
  • Responsibilities: Counsel and recruit prospective students and families via small and large group presentations, telephone, text, social media, and email communications. Articulate the many benefits of attending NSU while meeting and exceeding assigned student contact and enrollment goals. Evaluate applications for admission and recommend scholarship recipients. Required local and overnight regional recruitment travel of 6-8 weeks each fall and 2-4 weeks each spring, along with occasional evening and limited rotating weekend events. Other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs.
