The Center for Disabilities in Sioux Falls at the Sanford School of Medicine, is hiring a Grants Specialist. This position will coordinate pre-grant activities including identifying funding opportunities, partnerships, proposal completion and submittal. Will oversee post-grant start up and tracking of implementation activities including staffing, contracts, meeting schedules, monitoring, and reporting requirements. Coordinating multiple projects and collaborating with staff, university entities, community partners, and funding sources is essential. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business, education, rehabilitation, public health, or related field and a minimum 2 years’ experience with grants. Must have experience working with persons with disabilities, managing sensitive and confidential information, the ability to work independently and have professional communication skills. Leadership and management experience a plus. Funding for this position is secured through grants. Continuation within the position is contingent on performance and funding availability.
