Dakota State University is seeking candidates for a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. This is a twelve-month, benefit eligible position. The purpose of this position is to support and enhance the direction of the Dakota State University Athletic Department and the Women’s Basketball program. As the Head Women’s Basketball Coach, the incumbent will be responsible for oversight and administration of all aspects of the Women’s basketball program which will include recruiting, fundraising, compliance, budget management, academic advising and coaching.

The Women’s Basketball Head coach position is a half time position. It will include additional half-time teaching responsibilities to make it a full time, 12 month position.

*Experience with athletics and knowledge of NAIA rules is preferred.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, additional computer skills is preferred
*A Bachelor’s degree is required for the Coaching position.
*A Master’s degree is required to teach or provide classroom instruction.
*Three years of previous coaching and recruiting experience in basketball is preferred.

Dakota State University competes in the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) of the NAIA. DSU currently offers 12 sports; 6 for men and 6 for women.
