| Posting Text | South Dakota State University Extension is offering an opportunity as an Extension Associate-beefSD Coordinator. This is a 12 month, full-time, benefit-eligible position. The position is grant-funded and therefore continuation of the position is contingent upon future funding beyond the current grant.
SDSU is especially interested in candidates that can contribute to the experiences of underrepresented minorities in organizations. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, coordinate, and conduct daily activities of ongoing multi-year educational programs serving beginning agriculture producers in South Dakota. Develop and implement detailed curriculum based on framework described in grant proposals. Serve as liaison between Extension, partner organizations, and program mentors. Coordinate all major and minor activities sponsored by grant programs, organize specific details of each activity, including agenda, transportation, food, and related needs. Communicate all pertinent information to project team, partners, and participants in a timely manner. Raise funds to support the program through grantsmanship and donations. Manage financial accounts from grants and donations to maintain fiduciary responsibility. Evaluate programs to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. Write reports to funding entities and publish Extension articles about the programs. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
