Be a part of a dynamic team and work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population as a BOR HR Generalist III for SDSU’s Human Resources department. 
 
Job Responsibilities:  Manage the Faculty recruitment and selection processes which includes advertisement development; reviewing/approving advertisement and rating instruments; monitoring the search for compliance; and consulting and advise University staff and faculty of policy, processes and procedures related to recruitment. Review and recommend Faculty compensation (i.e., salary range, CIP code) and assist with creating and administering search committee training and other recruitment and compensation related training.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
Knowledge of:
·         Human Resource functions in areas of benefits, employment and recruitment
·         Computer systems and software (PeopleAdmin, HireRight, Banner, Microsoft Office, etc.)

·         Think critically, strategically and recognize discrepancies
·         Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

Required License:  Valid Driver’s License
 
Comments:  Excellent analytical, organization, and communication skills are essential. College degree preferred. SDSU is a tobacco free environment.
