Position: Seeking full-time; 9 month position with duties split 50% Instructor and 50% Lab Manager.

Responsibilities: Teach introductory undergraduate courses (7-8 credits per semester) in Chemistry and possibly Biology. The applicant’s primary responsibility will be to manage the Chemistry and Physics labs, including ordering, preparing, and maintaining all lab materials, overseeing student workers, monitoring stockroom and lab inventory, and other duties as necessary. Ability to maintain chemistry instrumentation is a plus. The applicant will also be expected to participate in university service when applicable.

Qualification: A MS degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or related field from an accredited institution or a BS degree with 18 graduate credits in the content area is required. The preferred candidate will have teaching experience at the collegiate level. Successful candidates must have strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to maintain chemistry instrumentation is a plus. The applicant will also be expected to participate in university service when applicable.
