University Housing at the University of South Dakota is seeking candidates for a live-on Occupancy Manager.

This position will have oversight and strategic control of all occupancy related functions including application and contract review, strategic planning, assignment coordination, process review, training, and marketing as well as hall supervision of McFadden residence hall. McFadden is an apartment style residence hall with 100 residents, 2 resident assistant staff members, desk worker staff, and a graduate assistant who all report to the Occupancy Manager. The Occupancy Manager is a member of the University Housing leadership team and will serve in the administrative on-call rotation.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years in related experience and a masters degree earned in higher education, student affairs, or a related field. Experience with StarRez and occupancy management is highly preferred.

The University of South Dakota is home to nine residential facilities housing over 2,000 residents, including first year halls, upper class halls, and apartment/suite facilities. University Housing employs six master’s level full-time Residence Hall Directors, five administrative support staff, five graduate students, 61 Resident Assistants, 40 Desk Worker/Operations Crew, one Assistant Director and Director.
