Black Hills State University is seeking applications for a term Instructor of Elementary Education (literacy emphasis).

Responsibilities include teaching courses for preservice teachers in the areas of reading, writing, assessment and classroom management. Supervision of student teachers will also be included. Position begins August 15, 2018.

*Masters Degree in Education (Doctorate preferred) with literacy emphasis
*Literacy-specific work experience can substitute for literacy emphasis in the degree (added 12.7.17)
*Five years of successful classroom experience at the K-8 level is required
*Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; and demonstrated ability to interact effectively as a team member.
*Knowledge of regional school districts and personnel strongly preferred.
