The DSU Registrar’s team is seeking a temporary benefit-eligible program assistant to continue updates needed to maintain the current student information system; serve as a resource to DSU faculty and students; and to provide office support during the implementation of a new student information system for the BOR institutions.
This position will be responsible for standard FERPA compliance, processing transcript requests and payments, providing accurate and timely verification of student information, providing data entry support and monitoring of incoming student transfer data, and making appropriate updates to student registrations and withdrawals.
This position will assist with on-going support and student information system maintenance in all aspects of registration and academic records while current staff is participating in new student information system training and implementation planning.
This position requires prior experience with confidential information and with shared database systems.
This position is anticipated for January 2018 through June 2019 or as determined by the project implementation schedule with the subsequent potential of becoming a permanent employee at DSU.
