Northern State University’s Center for Statewide E-learning invites applications for a Master Teacher of Spanish position.

Working from the teacher’s respective community or from the NSU campus, this expert teacher will design and deliver high-quality instructional elements, offer feedback, and create academic assistance. Using the Digital Dakota Network (DDN), the teacher will connect daily with students across the state, managing courses to fill critical unmet local needs, making benchmark Spanish education available to all S.D. high school students.
Successful candidates should be confident in their subject mastery, well-versed in content standards, and dedicated to sharing their instructional skills with students across the state. Candidates with a master’s degree or enrolled in a master’s degree program with at least 3 years teaching experience are preferred. A successful candidate without a master’s degree will be required to enter a master’s degree program. The 10-month appointment begins August 1, 2018.
