Black Hills State University seeks to hire a full-time instructor of English to teach basic writing, composition, and general education courses in literature on the Spearfish main campus, Rapid City, and online. This is a full-time, nine month, non-tenure track position that will start August 2018, with opportunities to teach during the summer term.

*Teaching five courses per semester

*Experience teaching writing
*Master’s degree in English or a related field
*Significant English graduate course work
*Ph.D. is preferred

Black Hills State University is a masters-level state University with 4,500 students. The campus leads the region in sustainability efforts and maintains top academic programs in business (AACSB), exercise science, natural sciences, social sciences, the arts, mass communication, health sciences and education.
