LOCATION: Information Technology Services

STARTING SALARY: $39,964.32 – $60,009.12, dependent upon education and experience, (overtime exempt), GJ

POSITION PURPOSE: Provide support and training to the campus in the use of the student information system. Duties include analyzing reporting needs, executing reports, and assuring accuracy of reporting results; serving as technical administrator and lead for various software packages, including providing training and support; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues; managing user security; developing documentation on the use of the student information system and software programs; and other duties as assigned.


Knowledge of:
•principles, theories and concepts of computer programming;
•system design principles;
•project management methodology;
•tools and technologies available to meet client information requirements;
•operating characteristics of the environments of assigned information systems.

Ability to:
•communicate effectively in both oral and written form with technical and non-technical clients and translate their needs, ideas, or suggestions into logical solutions, exercising tact, patience, discretion and professional demeanor;
•establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others;
•understand the overall impact of system design on data management goals;
•apply advanced principles, theories and concepts;
•contribute to the development of regental technological principles and concepts;
•build consensus among internal and external team members;
•provide excellent customer service.

COMMENTS: Some travel, including overnight stays, is required.
